After spending a couple days in Fort Lauderdale in the middle of sweltering June, there were two different heat records experienced.  W Abrasives North America invited our distributors to join us in the smashing 100°heat in Fort Lauderdale.  They left the heat of Florida but kept the fire burning from the wealth of knowledge they absorbed from the time spent with our organization. 

Even before the presentations started, distributor representatives were proud to share their satisfaction of working with W Abrasives and how excited they are to be part of this unprecedented event, ‘W Abrasives is a great company and it’s a pleasure to be invited to this first and what will be a great event’. 

This gathering is the first of its kind for this industry and was a great success.  Distributor’s had the opportunity to meet many of the great players of the W Abrasives team, while we were able to spend some uninterrupted quality time with some of our great partners.  Our partners enjoyed presentations on the important things W Abrasives has to offer:  product quality, our superior technical service, the past, present and future of W Abrasives and a review of our premium products.

One partner had to say, ‘I always looked at abrasives as a commodity…just another product we can sell to our customers.  What you guys are doing changes everything I ever thought.  You guys have lit a fire for me.  I can’t wait to have my team learn about the service and quality W Abrasives has to offer.  I’m excited to now offer the full service and not just the commodity.’ Our partners left with a full understanding of how we are changing the perception of being a commodity, to offering a full service to improve efficiency in the customers operation.
